Hello,
I have problems working with the Yoast SEO plugin and Elementor page builder.
Namely, the Yoast SEO plugin shows errors when editing a page with Elementor even when there are no errors present.
Also, in the Dashboard>Posts section, it shows orange dots where there should be green.
So, only when I open the page in the theme editor do I see the correct SEO status of the article, and both on-page editing and posts view show false Yoast SEO data.
Can it be fixed?

Kind regards,
Aleksandar

@aleks381 `We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

Can you please confirm you are using the most recent version of Yoast SEO, version 16.0.2? You can learn more about updating here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Also, can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.7? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?

If after ensuring that both WordPress, Yoast SEO, and your other plugins and themes are up to date the issue is still occurring, we’d next recommend performing a conflicting check to see whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast SEO Plugin. This will help us narrow down the exact cause and determine what the next steps are while saving you time.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.`

Thanks for the quick answer.
I will check that all, and see if it helps.

Hi @aleks381,

Thanks for getting back to us. We’ll leave this issue open for the next week in case you have any updates.

We have updated the WP Core and all the plugins. After that, we were deactivating all the plugins one by one, and also reactivating them all in the same manner.

After the Elementor Pro was deactivated the issue with editing with Elementor was solved. And after reactivating all the other deactivated plugins the problem remained solved. So it was all about deactivating and reactivating the Elementor Pro plugin.

Still, even after all the plugins except for Elementor and Yoast SEO plugins were deactivated, the problem with Dashboard > Posts was still present.

Thanks for your confirmation. We are glad to hear that one of the issues is now resolved for you.

In regards to the SEO score on the posts overview page, you’ll need to update the relevant posts without changing anything and that will update the SEO scores on the posts overview page as well.

Let us know whether the issue persists after updating the relevant posts.

Thanks! It helped! ??

Also, for an article, the Yoast SEO plugin gave me information by the WordPress Editor that the focus keyphrase should be found 6 times for a text of this length. Through Elementor page builder, it recommends 7 times for a text of that length for the same article.

What is the correct information, then? And why different information for the same article, depending on WordPress Editor or Elementor?

Even though the content analysis report shall always be the same instead of showing a different report depending on the editor you’re using, we can confirm that our development teams are aware of this. A bug report is currently open on our end as well so that it can be fixed in a future update.

In the meantime, you can either use the focus keyphrase 6 or 7 times and both would be fine.

Note: if you have additional queries, please do feel free to open a new topic instead of writing all of them here. In this way, it will help us to answer them faster.
