    Suddenly, Yoast settings are unavailable, the menu item flyout on the backend only shows ‘premium’ links. If I click on the main menu link, it only shows a page with “Unlock premium” links.

    Thank you for using Yoast SEO and for reaching out. Sorry to hear you are experiencing this.

    Have you recently updated the plugin before this started to happen? In any case, please try the following:

    1) Make sure to run the latest Yoast SEO, which is currently 19.6.1.
    2) Temporarily deactivate Yoast SEO on the plugins overview page.
    3) Reactivate Yoast SEO again.
    4) Check the Yoast SEO menu and see if all the menu items appear again.

    A bit of technical information: we set capabilities on our settings pages on plugin activation, and it might have gone wrong after a previous update you’ve installed – whereas this would be fixed after a simple de- and reactivation.
