Site audit tools show that the websites have many duplicate meta descriptions.

Upon further investigation the post and pages all have an unique meta description. But Yoast shows the default tagline.

Tagline: “Simply the best PKI Certificate Management platform in the world”
Current meta description defined for page: “Discover CONET’s unique corporate culture and strong values guiding our mission, vision, and teamwork. Experience our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.”

    Thanks in advance

    Hello @marcusdeman,

Thanks for reaching out your meta description. For this page, here’s what’s in the page source:

    <title>Our customers: CONET - KeyTalk</title>

<meta name="description" content="Simply the best PKI Certificate Management platform in the world" />

<meta name="description" content="Discover CONET's unique corporate culture and strong values guiding our mission, vision, and teamwork. Experience our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction." />

This confirms the duplicate meta descriptions with the last coming from Yoast SEO. Do you have another SEO plugin or does your theme have a meta description field? If you’re unsure, I recommend performing a conflict check to identify the source of the duplicate.

The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.
