I always had the yoast snippet appear underneath my posts while writing them, and I could fill out meta description and post title accordingly. Over the past week I can’t find anything underneath my post draft. If I scroll to the bottom of the screen I just reach the bottom of my paragraph blocks. I do have a yoast section on the right hand side of my screen (same place where I can choose to toggle between classic editor and code editor). But if I use the functionality on this right hand side yoast, there is no meta box anywhere to be found. Yes, I did check if meta box was enabled and it is, and yoast is also enabled under the three dots and options.

    Please help!

  • Hello,
have you tried to deactivate Classic Editor plugin? I’m experiencing the same issue and when I disable Classic Editor plugin everything works fine.

Hi! Thanks for the response.I don’t even have the classic editor plug in (unless it automatically is included for some reason?) Sorry I’m a complete newbie!

I had a similar issue. The fix for me was by changing the Site Language to something else and then checking the Meta box and it came back. I then reset the Site Language back to what it was.

    This may help you.

    Hi,

Odd. We are not sure why that is happening. We would like some more information.

    A. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v10.1.1? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    B. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    C. Is the metabox section blank, as in an outline appears but lacks any content OR does it not show at all?

    D. If you check for JavaScript errors do any appear on that page in the backend? Can you describe them or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors please use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/article/321-how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console.

You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.
