Yoast switch causing meta disaster.
-
Alrighty heres the deal. I’ve been using All in One SEO for all my sites up until about a month ago when someone suggested that Yoast was much better. I installed the plugin, followed all the steps to transfer everything over, and I deactivated and deleted All in One SEO. Thought everything was going great, until I noticed my new posts meta descriptions were messed up. I thought maybe I just didn’t have the settings right, I’ve fixed the meta settings, resubmitted my site maps, everything and they still are messed up. I’ve never had meta title/description issues before so this makes it all the more frustrating.
That should be a screen shot of how one of my posts is getting indexed since the change.
It is showing in the description the permalink, and then starting my post. My settings only have a fault template for the title of the posts, and then each post I always create custom titles and descriptions so I’m not sure why this is getting indexed like that. Any help advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
