    Problem: Incorrect Schema rendered price attribute on Grouped Products.

    I use both Yoast Premium SEO and Yoast Woocommerce SEO plugins on our ecommerce site. We sell contact lenses using grouped products each product with two linked simple products, one for the right eye and one for the left eye. For example: https://eyedeals.com/product/1-day-acuvue-moist-90-pack/

    When I test the grouped product of the above URL using Google’s “Rich Results Test” or when using the Google Search Console I get a price of 83.99 USD before taxes as shown in the rendered HTML below whereas the price of the product is 71.99 USD. The number 83.99 is not something I entered and does not have any regular mathematical relationship to the product price and does not show up in the source code for the web page except in the Schema output from one of the Yoast plugins as shown below. i.e. the Yoast plugins have generated this number

    "offers":[{"@type":"Offer","price":"83.99","priceSpecification":{"price":"83.99","priceCurrency":"USD","valueAddedTaxIncluded":false},"priceCurrency":"USD","availability

    To this point I have concluded that the Yoast plugins do not work with grouped products but I would like to be wrong about this. As a side note the Schema rendered price values generated for variable products seems to be fine. it’s just the grouped products.

    I would be grateful for any insights that anyone may have on this mystery. Thank you.
