You can generate them here if backup copies are available

I have the same problem. I seems not all available original image files are written in the backup folder. Is there a possibility to regenerate the backup?

The option to keep original images is active by default in Imagify settings. If you turned it off at some point and then optimized images, there is no way to recover them.

Is that the case?

Sorry, but I need more information here. You have created an FAQ page, and bubble hints on your settings page but you have failed to actually answer the concerns.

I just installed imagify because after doing googles speed test this plugin was actually recommended by google to install to deliver webp images on my site.

On your settings page you use the words “themes may break” multiple times in multiple sections. Which gives me great pause in selecting certain options because I really do not want to break my site nor do I know anyone else that breaking their site is on their bucket list of things to do before they die.

BUT i have no way of knowing if I click this button or check that box whether its going to be beneficial or detrimental to my site.

I just installed this and have been working with it for all of 5 minutes and this is the section I am at. Do you have a video, webpage, forum post or email that explains these things more in depth so i don’t have to bother you in such a public manner?

Hello guys,
maybe I know what’s the problem. When I export images from Photosphop optimized for web page display then some of them are not needed to be optimized. So, they have no backup copies – they we’re not optimized – this make sense. But I still don’t know how to genereta backup copies from not optimized images…. There is possibly one way – to set optimize to ultra, but I will definitely loose some quality with this setting turned on..
Is there any other solution how to generate backup copies for non-optimized images?
