• Hi guys,

That message is popping up multiple times whenever I add more than one product to my cart.

Each time I add a new product to the cart, or when I enter the checkout, it appears the system is trying to add the items already in the cart to the cart again.

My site is https://keypressgraphics.com/ and I’m running Woocommerce and the WooCart Pro plugin. I think this issue only started occurring when I updated to the latest version of Woocommerce.

I much appreciate any help you can offer.

To clarify, the message is “you can’t add another (product name) to cart”

Woo Cart Pro is likely incompatible with WooCommerce 2.5. A lot of plugin / theme developers don’t test their products with our beta releases ??

I’d recommend deactivating it and see if that resolves the issue.

Thankyou for the help jameskoster, but I disabled WooCart Pro and it didn’t make any difference.

I’m stumped as to what’s creating these errors.

I found out what the problem is, at least to an extent.

Woocommerce seems to be trying to add multiple instances of a product to the cart, even though the Add to Cart button is clicked once.

This is a problem because I only have one physical copy of all my products, so when a customer puts one in their cart and it (for some reason) adds 6 or 8 of them, the ‘cannot add to cart’ message will come up. The product still gets added though but the message looks unprofessional and distracting.

I’m pretty sure this only started happening since the latest Woocommerce update.

I disabled WooCart Pro and it is still happenning.

    Can anyone help me please?

    One other thing I’ve discovered-

The problem only occurs if an Add to Cart button on the main shop page is pressed.

If an Add to Cart button on an individual product page is pressed then it works fine, only one instance of the product is added.

So if customers add products from within the product pages things will work fine, but if they add products from the main shop page they will get these annoying errors.

Do you have any other plugins activated? I’ve not seen this reported by anyone else so the issue is very likely in your setup somewhere.

    Try deactivating other plugins.

FYI, adding products from your shop pages works just fine for me.
