I have replied your comment, would that be possible that we can help you to solve issues together?
Hi nick6352683,
Thank you for your feedback, I’m wondering what’s error when you upload your image. We integrated the WordPress media upload itself, Is it a Javascript error or some permission issue?
For the bid function, there are some settings about WordPress user role, when you did a bid there should show a dialog for you login, I didn’t known what exactly problems on your side, can you give me some issue details that will be great helpful.
Thanks again.Hi guys. Thank you for trying to resolve the issues. Again, this plugin, when the errors get resolved and the plugins matures more, it will be a five star plugin from one.
OK, I tested it locally on 2 environments:
1. Ammps: https://www.ampps.com/
2. Usbwebserver 8.5: https://www.usbwebserver.net/en/On the ampps, the plugin installs, but I can’t upload an image, and I can’t bid. I tried bidding as an admin, or as a subscriber – nothing.
On the Usbwebserver, the plugin does not even activate. I get an error.
Here is a video showing exactly what is happening in both environments. Again, in both cases, clean install with no plugins except the user switching plugin.
Thank you,
Nick.Thanks, Nick.
We’ve figured out few of your issues:
1. Media upload: it’s caused by your wordpress location, it’s under a sub folder. (we are going to fix this soon, however for testing, you might want to put this installation to root folder to be able to continue).
2. Not able to bid. it’s caused by the setting. You need to create a page and put [Single_Auction] in the content and chose this page to be the “Auction detail page”. (we are going to improve this settings and warn user if the setting is empty).
About the other one: “Couldn’t be installed on USBWebServer”, we are also going to try to reproduce the error and figure out what caused that and let you know once it’s solved”.
Thanks again for your feedback and it really helps us to improve and the contribute the community of wordpress and auctioning.

JeromeHi Nick,
For USBWebServer, I made a new release, Might it works on your USBWebServer, it’s possible caused by PHP short tag, I update a few short tags and remove a empty line of one file, then tested on USBWebServer, the plugin works on my USBWebServer.
Thanks again, the video was really helpful.
I’m glad you are figuring things out. This plugin looks very promising. In the meantime, can you please indicate what I have to do to change the currency in the code?
Thanks again, I’ll keep posting/making videos to point any other problems in the future.
Nick
Hi guys I have a new video and 2 big questions.
1. Ask before, how do I change the currency question.
2. How can I list a specific auction I created? I can only display the sample pineapple auction. That said, many things got fixed, creating a new auction, upload images, and bid. Hooray !!!
But, some things got broken – Settings, edit current running auctions, BUT only the sample ones, my own created auctions can be edited, so it’s not the end of the word for this.
Ok, let’s get the video rolling. As you can see I have a fresh USBWebserver folder, WP is installed on the root (I’m glad this is going to be fixed and be allowed in directories). I could not test it in ampps as it requires WP to be installed in a directory.
This plugin is starting to look better by the minute…
Thanks,
NickHi Nick,
Thanks for your nice and clear video again. it really helps us to find out what you have met.
1. Currency. it’s being developed now and at the beginning of next week, we will have a new release which includes this functionality.
2. I am not pretty sure that what you wanted. Did you want to embed an auction into some other page? can you tell us why do you want it? because from my point of view, you should already be possible to put everything you want to the description of the auction, and you can just put that URL to anywhere. Or maybe, you want to write an article to introduce the thing which in the auction, and by embedding it, so customers can bid right there? if it’s reasonable, we will take this into consideration for next release.
For the setting part, it’s caused by short tag which is default not supported on your environment, we’ve replaced all short tags, so it won’t be problem any more.
About the editing problem, there are few rules:
1. Running auctions can’t be edited.
2. Closed auction can’t be edited.I think your problem is one of them.
Please pay attention to our new release and we really appreciate for your testing. Hopefully we will finally get your 5-stars rate.

VikingSorry guys, I was out of town. Yes, this is getting much better. A nice start to a plugin that will earn 5 stars over time, when it gets matured.
I am changing my 1 star rating to 3 right now, and hopefully over time it will become 5 stars when the project gets completed.
Thanks for your quick responses too.
