I think my UpdraftPlus stopped working, because at “last finished backup run” it says this: “You do not appear to be authenticated with Dropbox
Dropbox/Curl error: You need to re-authenticate with Dropbox, as your existing credentials are not working.
Dropbox/Curl error: You need to re-authenticate with Dropbox, as your existing credentials are not working.”

At the same time down below at “Authenticate with Dropbox” it says: “You appear to be already authenticated”

What should I do now? Can anyone help me?

    Hi,

Click on the link for re-authentication. The messages are saying that you “appear” to be authenticated but that appearance is misleading – “your existing credentials are not working”.

    Best wishes,
    David

    Hi David!

Thanks for your respond! Unfortunately my problem is not solved and I need further guidance. After trying to re-authenticate, it told me that I′m authenticated now according to this notice: Success: you have authenticated your Dropbox account.
Your Dropbox account name: Daniela K….

Still when I click on “back up now”, it doesn′t work properly. It starts loading, but gets stuck after a while and never finishes.

Additionally I now get the following error messages:

Strict Standards: Declaration of UpdraftPlus_BackupModule_cloudfiles_opencloudsdk::config_print_javascript_onready() should be compatible with UpdraftPlus_BackupModule_openstack_base::config_print_javascript_onready($keys = Array) in /home/.sites/698/site8704257/web/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/methods/cloudfiles-new.php on line 13

Can anyone help me? I appreciate any info on how to get my updraftplus to work again!

    Hi,

“Still when I click on “back up now”, it doesn′t work properly. It starts loading, but gets stuck after a while and never finishes.”

When you say it gets stuck, at what stage? Please can you paste the complete log? (Use pastebin.com or something similar – it’ll be too long for this forum).

Debug messages: Turn of the debugging option in the UpdraftPlus settings if you don’t want to see debugging messages printed on your screen.

    Best wishes,
    David

Unfortunately it doesn′t tell me any percentage, but it doesn′t even load half way.

Here is the complete log. I used pastebin.com for the first time, so I hope this works: https://pastebin.com/Rq2kNMe4
Are you able to see my log?

    Thanks,
    Daniela

    Hi Daniela,

Thank you. The error in the log is:

2538.750 (6) Dropbox Curl error: couldn’t connect to host

This is a network connectivity error – your webserver is having trouble reaching https://www.dropbox.com. This is something you’ll need to ask the web hosting company who operate the webserver about.

    Best wishes,
    David
