It has been pointed out to me that all of the downloads on our public website can no longer be downloaded.

None of our downloads are restricted, we’re only currently using Download Monitor for obfuscation and logging.

However, each download now displays the message, “You do not have permission to access this download. Go to homepage”.

Have I done something stupid? I’m running Download Monitor 1.8.0.

    Thanks for your help.

Is it worth me downgrading the plugin? Is that even possible?

Same thing over here. We recently just did the 1.8 upgrade and all downloads are showing “You do not have permission to access this download. Go to homepage.

    I’ve resolved this.

In order to prevent logging downloads by internal staff, I had added our gateway’s IP address to the list of IP addresses which are not logged.

In 1.8.0 of Download Monitor, this list has been renamed ‘Blacklist IPs’, and removing our IP address from this list has allowed staff to download the files again.
