    Hi there,
    we have done few sales and for the first time this problem occured. One of the customers bought 3 item (all without variable prices) and received purchase confirmation. However when they click the download link the message You do not have permission to download this file appears. What I have noticed is that in purchase details Buyer’s User ID was -1, all other users have the ID without minus.
    I have done test purchase and it works fine, can click download link.
    Did anyone have something like that before

    Sounds like the download link may have expired.

    How long after purchasing did they try to download the files?

    Order has been placed few minutes before. There is no expiration for downloads. What I did was changed status to pending and changed to completed and the email with links to downloads has been sent again, this time all of them were working. What I also did is I disabled IPN Verification before. Not sure what happened.

    Ok so it’s a problem with the payments not getting updated to complete.

    What version of EDD?

    It is 1.5.2.2 but as I said it happened just once, before I have disabled IPN verification. Do you think it could be caused by this?
    I also wondering why buyer ID was -1. It is normal?

    Please update to the latest version of EDD.

    Buyer = -1 just means that they purchased it as a guest user.

    Hi Pippin,
    I have updated plugin and the same situation happened today. Customer received purchase confirmation but when he clicked the link it shows first that thry do not have permission to download this file, then Sorry but your download link has expired. Do you have any suggestions what can do do? Thanks for your help in advance

    In Downloads > Settings > Misc, what is the Download Expiration option set to?

    Hi Pippin, my fault as always. Sorry there was empty field and then I have found that by default it is 24 hours:)
