Ok I have seen this error on many different posts, however nothing like the situation that I am having.

    I get the error:

” You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I get this error when logging into wp-admin when it is NOT the Admin log in. example: The Admin Profile logs in with no issues. The other profiles with admin privileges get this error. They can still edit posts and get to the dashboard in a different route, i.e. edit page-> the dashboard, but when they click on the dashboard link it gives them said error again.

    Steps I have done:

-Checked User Roles and changed them all to highest level (matching the admin profile) this does not work.

    – I have deactivated ALL plugins and changed theme to a default theme, did not work.

-Renamed the plugin folder, tested, did not work,

    – Created new users with Admin roles = did not work.

The only thing recently that i did was try to see how BBPRESS would work with my site and used wp-phpbb-bridge to test phpbb compatability.
These have since been deactivated and I am not sure if they are related to this issue.

I upgraded to 3.5 a while ago and have not had issues until today.

    Any suggestions???
