You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
-
We haven’t had the ability to access our WordPress dashboard as an
- Admin
in 3 weeks now.
We login and get the following prompt:
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
and we’re directed to: site.com/wp-admin/profile.phpWe’ve tried the following items and have come to the conclusion it is an issue with the WooCommerce plugin and it’s connection to the database.
What we’ve tried:
Within the MySQL Database:
-Turned all plugins off (also did this in the FTP). In doing this the admin menu popped up on the homepage, however still no WordPress dashboard access. Closest we’ve gotten to a resolution.-Confirmed admin wp_capabilities (a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}) and wp_level (10)
-Developed a new Admin user within database
-Developed a Dev site, exported wp-content folder, exported all the tables except for wp_users and wp_usermeta from current site. Imported tables and wp-content folder into dev site. Still no luck
-Exported fresh wp_users and wp_usermeta tables and imported into old database. Still no luck
Notes:
-Yes, the “wp_” is correct in the wp-config.php file
-Site runs fine on the front end
-Turned off plugins one by one in FTP by adjusted folders names, still no luckWe’re at a loss, its an e-commerce site with 500+ products and we have no idea how this happend or how to fix it. We’ve spent over 20 hours testing different solutions and we’ve come to the conclusion it has to be an error with woocommerce and the connection with Database.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Thank you, we’re 24 hours away from just redoing the website on behalf of our client.
Cheers,
-Nate
