You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page

  • Hi!

    Since this morning, I can’t login to my WordPress (multisite) sites. I get this error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”. I have seen similar threads, but by issue have some differences:
    1. I can’t even log in to the dashboard
    2. I could login normally yesterday

    The only thing I could try is erasing the “wp better security” (that seems to have caused this issue to many others) via my ftp, but still nothing.
    I tried to do some suggested on another thread, but my ftp won’t let me save or replace my wp-conflig.php file.
    Also there are several solutions mentioned, by changing things on the database, but since I am not a web developer, I wouldn’t try anything unless I had step-by-step instructions….

    I have also contact my hosting provider, but they told my since my account is “economy” (or something) they couldn’t provide support for a problem that is clearly caused in WordPress and has nothing to do with the server.

    Could anyone please help???
