You Have an Email – via the contact form

does anyone know if this could happen or is remotely possible?

i think it would be neat to have some sort of Dashboard tabbed function or a Plugin that would notify you if you have any new emails in your inbox that you have configured through your “Contact Form”. It would also be neat if you could check and compose emails from the Admin, but i wanted to see first if anyone knows about what i would like to see done or if it done, where can i find it.

again, some easy way that once you are logged into the Admin, there is some sort of notification to let you know you have a new email that someone has sent via your contact form. it would just be one less window open.

you think this is possible and is there anyone out interested in this functionality? i am not a coder, so someone would have to run from my initial idea.
