    After I install the plugin (via wp-admin OR sftp – I tried both), and I click on Settings, a new page opens that says “You do not have sufficient permissions to open this page”. The settings also do not appear in the right wp-admin menu. Not sure if it’s happening because of the other plugins we have installed but thought I would post in case others are having the same issue.

    Thank you.

    ok, thanks. I will keep trying along those lines. I did log in as every user (there are four, each with Admin access). I bet though, just have to get the order right or something.

    Cheers,

    Karen

    I am facing the same issue. After the activation of the plugin I cannot see any menu of this plugin under settings page. When I click on ‘settings’ from the plugin list menu I get the error ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to open this page.’ on the new page. I am using single site configuration and also having the only one user that is also admin. WordPress updated to the latest version and also tried deactivating all the plugins and also on different theme. Any help is appreciated on this. I badly need this to work on my website.

    Hi,

    This plugin require super admin rights. Make sure that you are logged in as a super admin else i will modify the error message in next build so it will help you to understand that what exactly the problem is?

    Thanks,
    Fahad

    Dear Fahad, I am using the single site configuration and not the multisite configuration for my wordpress. For single site config how can i activate the super admin? I am sorry but i am new in wordpress can you please guide me. Thanks for all your support.

    Don’t worry, please provide me the wp-admin login credentials through my blog. You can reach me here. I will check it and update you that what problem are you facing exactly.

    For anyone else looking at this thread, the following worked for me.
    In your wp-config, the following must be set to false.

    define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_MODS', false );
     define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false );

    If the above are set to true, then this plugin will throw a fit.

    Yes, I’m also in this loop and I feel that, its a common problem whenever our WordPress related permissions are either disturbed or changed.
