The subject says it all, pretty much. Created a Keyy account and verified it. Installed Keyy on my website and activated it, then scanned the QR Code with the app on my iPhone8+, and got all of the requisite messages about adding the site, which also now showed up online in my Keyy account:

    https://www.edrotberg.org/new-gallery/index.php?rest_route=/ - login: <em>***********</em>
A site added by the user via a QR code scan

(I have since removed the site from my Keyy account and deactivated the plugin)

Being the skeptic that I am, while I was logged into my site’s admin panel with the Chrome browser, I tried to log in via the Safari browser. At this point I get a message that the Keyy app is not connected to this site.

What did I do wrong? I see no sense in paying for the Premium version if the free version is this difficult to set up. And I’m not a dummy. I reset and tried the above numerous times. I am a retired software engineer with over 40 years experience. Either there are bugs lurking here, or the installation/setup is FAR from intuitive, and I can’t figure out something that should be obvious.

    Disappointedly yours,

  • Hi,

    Sorry for the delay.

Could you open a support request via the app, this will send us the device log files.

If you’ve removed the app without exporting your private key we will need to re-establish idenity when you send in the support request.

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley

I’d be happy to do so. As I noted in my original post, I have removed all sites from my online account. Do you want me to re-add my site again prior to exporting my private key, or should I just export it as is?
