You lost all credibility

This petty attitude is so out of control that I am seriously considering leaving WordPress for good.

And here’s the thing – you might have been right in all your arguments against ACF (I don’t think we have the whole story). You probably would have had a huge portion of the community on your side.

But, from the moment you simply decide you can take over somebody else’s work, you lose the argument completely.

Why would creators invest a dime or a moment of their time developing new plugins or themes for WordPress if the WP overlords can simply decide to steal them, like Gods?

This “secure custom fields” plugin is OFF my sites, because, like I said, you might have had all the best arguments, but your petty attitude is not something I can ever support, even if your original argument had a basis.

So, grow a pair and do the right thing, because it doesn’t look like people are backing down.
