• Running self-hosted WP with a web hosting company. Trying to upgrade to 3.8, clicked to automatically upgrade, but upon unpacking the update got the error, “you may have run out of disk space.” I don’t know *where* it means I’ve run out of disk space – with my web host? Never had ANY problems upgrading before, not sure where to start. Thanks!

  • The error message does come from your hosting account, so the first thing ot do is check how much disk space your account is using. If it seems like a lot then you can try and clear it out if you know what you’re doing. If not I’d ask your hosting company for help.
