• If you change your site’s URL, you’re doomed, you’ll lose your galleries. And even if you manage to fix the issue by correcting the links, reloading each image, it gets worse. Right now I don’t even have traces of which pictures I had in my gallery and according to my findings, one of two things may have caused this: either I lost everything when the author-user’s ID was changed in order to improve security using a security plugin or one of the updates had something to do with this. It’s worth mentioning I haven’t had any issues of this sort with any other plugin. Professional WordPress plugins should be able to pass the time/upgrade test, especially since that is what defines WordPress: flexibility and “upgradability”. Otherwise the plugin is fine, but causing you to lose all your work pretty much nulls any positive feature.
