What is that supposed to mean?
After installing MailPoet 3, how do I separate WordPress transnational emails from marketing emails and newsletters? Does MailPoet take over all? That wouldn’t be a good situation.

  • @neufsky,

MailPoet 3 only sends emails you create with MailPoet – newsletters, welcome and post notification emails.
Currently it does not take over any transactional emails sent by your WordPress site, such as “Password reset” or “New Comment” notification emails.

I am not sure where this exact quote was mentioned, but it could be in reference to transactional email – currently MailPoet will not handle it for you, so if it doesn’t work for you when sending with your host – you may need to find a separate plugin to handle them.

    Regards,
    MailPoet Team.

Thanks for the clarification, MailPoet, I appreciate it!
You can find the exact quote from: MailPoet->Settings, under the “Other” tab.
It is a little disconcerting to read this somewhat ambiguous and alarming statement after I just installed MailPoet. Maybe change the wording in future releases to avoid confusion?

    Best Regards,
    Neuf
