“Your account isn’t ready to show ads yet”

    Hi,

    The plugin does not connect to my AdSense account. My account is activated and is accepted to use AdSense. However, when I click on complete setup, it states:

    Your account isn’t ready to show ads yet

    You need to fix some things before we can connect Site Kit to your AdSense account

    It brings me to my AdSense account which states:

    Getting your site ready to show ads

    Nice work, you’ve completed all the steps

    Can you assist me with this issue.

    Hi @ultimateboss thanks for getting in touch. To complete the AdSense setup in Site Kit you will need both your AdSense account and site status to be set to ‘ready‘. It looks like your site is ‘getting ready‘ as you can see from your AdSense account. This means that you just need to wait until your account and site are ready to display ads. Unfortunately I can’t give a timeframe on when this will update.

    I would also be happy to check these statuses for you. To do this I will need you to share your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.?Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hi,

    My Adsense account does have the word “Ready” under approval status and I confirmed this by email to the Google team who stated the account is 100% ready.

    @ultimateboss Thanks for sharing the information. When checking this, I can see the following:

    adsense_account_status: client-getting-ready

    adsense_site_status: ready

    As you can see above, your account is still not ready and is being checked. Until both of these statuses are marked as ‘ready’, you won’t be able to complete the AdSense setup within Site Kit and ads won’t be displayed on your site.

    There isn’t anything we can do further here and it is just the case that you need to wait for this to be ready. If you do have any further queries on your AdSense account then you can go to the AdSense Help Center where you will find more information or you can ask a question to the community.
