The transactions go through fine against Sandbox, but fail against production.

I don’t think it’s related to email receipts since I never setup the DNS Braintree requires so that’s not turned on.

One charge went through with a $0 total (I’ve emailed Braintree to ask about that), but all of my tests this morning have failed. I can’t imagine that the 4 credit cards I tried are all no good.

Any pointers or tips at what I should look at? Does Braintree even have a system log like Stripe does? I’ve never used Braintree before but their $50k of fee-free transactions was enticing.

  • Have you found a solution?

I think the add on is no longer working at all.

It was a problem on Braintree’s end with my client’s account.

The Plugin’s worked hundreds of times since Braintree fixed the issue on their end.

    I’m glad to hear it!

So… You are saying that this addon is still working with wordpress for you?

I ask because in my wordpress dashboard it says that the add on itself needs to be updated.

@mikejandreau How did you investigate this? I am getting “Your card could not be billed” message testing in sandbox mode.

NM. I’m new to Braintree and didn’t realize I needed to use separate keys :/
