“Your Cart is Empty” NOT displaying

    I’m setting up a new cart on a production site and the “Your Cart is Empty” words are not showing up. I have checked the settings page and the words ARE in the correct field in the settings. Please advise, thanks!

    Hi, what shortcodes have you added to the page in question? The following are the shortcodes you should have in the shopping cart page.

    [wp_cart_button name="Test Product" price="29.95"] = This is a sample shortcode.

    [show_wp_shopping_cart] = This shortcode will only show the cart if there are any items in the cart.

    [always_show_wp_shopping_cart] = This shortcode will always show the cart (even if the cart is empty).
