I’m getting this message Your current version of WooCommerce Admin is outdated and a newer version is included with WooCommerce. We recommend deactivating the plugin and using the stable version included with WooCommerce.

Even though i have the latest version. I’m still getting this message. What should I do?

Also the analytics report is not showing any stats.

There was an error getting your stats. Please try again.

  • I am getting this same error, and even when I deactivate woocommerce admin plugin, the notice still does not disappear.

Thanks for writing @oxenjo30. There was a delay in Woocommerce Admin 1.0.3 being released which has been resolved. If you update to the latest version, the notice should disappear.

    Hi @psealock

I’ve updated the WC Admin Plugin to Version 1.0.3 and de-activated it, however the warning (Your current version of WooCommerce Admin is outdated and a newer version is included with WooCommerce. We recommend deactivating the plugin and using the stable version included with WooCommerce.) is still appearing above every WooCommerce page. Is there any other way to remove it?

Hitting deactivate simply does nothing while it’s deactivated.

    Hello @psealock
Same for me. The solution you give here does not work for me.

Im experiencing the same issue here. i have deactivated the WooCommerce admin Plugin but the error message continues to show

    Hi @oxenjo30,
Thanks for sharing this question, could you check whether the plugin is still active in the plugins list after updating?
Sometimes it deactivates after the update (we are working on it now) and the error you mentioned appears.
If you reactivate the plugin, the error message should disappear.
Let me know if this works for you.
    Regards!

I can confirm that even after deactivating and then deleting the WooCommerce Admin plugin, the error still appears, same as the others have mentioned.

I can also confirm that deactivating all plugins and reactivating does not solve the problem. (I tried deactivating WooCommerce plugin only which broke the site as other plugins require the WooCommerce plugin. So It is probably better to to deactivate all, and reactivate all starting with the WooCommerce plugin when trying this). So, I deactivated all, and reactivated all. Error message still remains present.

Also note that I have the latest version of WooCommerce & WordPress.

    Hi @dayley,

    Thank you for your comment.
Just to confirm, are you installing the latest WooCommerce Admin version?
Are you manually uploading the WooCommerce Admin .zip file?

    Thank you!

The WooCommerce plugin now includes WooCommerce Admin, so after updating the WooCommerce plugin this is when I was presented with the error message.

    The error message recommends to:

deactivate the WooCommerce Admin plugin and use the stable version included with WooCommerce.

So this is what I did. I deactivated WooCommerce Admin plugin and kept only the WooCommerce plugin.

    So to clarify your questions:
    (A) I am updating to the latest version of WooCommerce which contains WooCommerce Admin. I am not installing the latest WooCommerce Admin version by itself.

    (B) I am not manually uploading anything, only updating WooCommerce to the latest version.

    WooCommerce version: 4.0.1
    WordPress version: 5.4

I’m getting this notification on a clients site and the Woocommerce Admin plugin IS NOT even installed there. Clicking on the ‘deactivate’ button does nothing. Woocommerce and other associated plugins are up to date. How do we resolve this issue?

What’s going on here? No resolution? I’m getting the following:

    Deactivate old WooCommerce Admin version
Your current version of WooCommerce Admin is outdated and a newer version is included with WooCommerce. We recommend deactivating the plugin and using the stable version included with WooCommerce.

@zachgross I was able to rectify the issue, by installing the WooCommerce Admin plugin, activating it and then immediately deactivating it and deleting it.

    Hope that helps

@leeleplawdeichmann Your fix worked, thanks! I managed to remove the notification doing exactly that ‘installing WooCommerce Admin’ and immediately deinstalling after activating.

This worked for me as well. Such an easy fix. I can’t believe I dealt with it so long and even opened a support ticket with woocommerce, but didn’t get it solved.

    Thanks for posting your fix.
    sb
