“Your IP address is out of range of the global internet.”
-
Plugin version: 3.0.3.3
First of all, thanks for a great plugin. It’s saved me a ton of hassle.
I’m getting the follow error message in the WordPress dashboard: “IP Geo Block: Your IP address is out of range of the global internet. Please set the appropriate key into “$_SERVER keys to retrieve extra IP addresses” on Settings tab in case your server is placed behind a proxy server or a load balancing server. In case you run a localhost, please use ip-geo-block-ip-addr filter hook to give this plugin an proper IP address.”
My site is not behind any proxy server or load balancing server, it’s accessible directly from the internet. But I’m currently accessing it through the LAN, so my IP address is a LAN address, i.e. 192.168.1.250. I’ve whitelisted the LAN both in the “Whitelist of country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2)” box with ZZ,XX, and the entire LAN network range in the “Whitelist of extra IP addresses prior to country code (CIDR)” box with 192.168.1.0/24.
So as far as I can see, I should be good to go. How do I get rid of the error message? I think it started to show up when I upgraded to 3.0.3.3, but I can’t be sure.
