Just to clarify, is the key itself showing as valid, just “not valid for MailPoet Premium“?

I see the key linked to your cornwallribfest.com domain is for our “Starter – 1000” plan. That free plan provides sending for up to 1000 subscribers and 5000 emails/month, however does not include the “Premium/Advanced” functionality, so the message about “MailPoet Premium” would be expected in that case.
