I decided to give your plugin another try. Months ago I removed it, and today I reinstalled.

I couldn’t understand how a newly installed plugin already had my API. The username was old and the API was from an account I no longer use.

Also, the form mark-up was exactly as I had customized it from when I had your plugin installed. I should have had a completely fresh start with this brand new install.

So I deactivated and then deleted it, clicking the link that says remove all files. And then I reinstalled a fresh copy. The same thing happened again.

Your plugin is keeping my API and all of my information. It shouldn’t do that.

When I deleted the form markup so I can start over, I just get a blank screen in the markup box and no plugin on my website. Does it come with markup already in the box, or is the box blank and intended for user custom markup?

Please let me know why this is happening. Thank you!

    Hello northstatehillbilly,

What you are experiencing is a common way in most WordPress plugins. To avoid accidently deletion of settings, most plugins including our own, does not delete the data from your database, it only deleted the files. This is intentional as while you seem to be an experienced user, most do not have much experience and if they accidently delete the data, there is no way to recover it.

Your data is saved in your database and not shared with anyone else, hence you should not worry about security issues.

If you are starting again, you can easily add markup to your form by using the “Add a new field” option when you edit the form.

I hope that helps. Please feel free to let me know if you run into any issues.

That makes perfect sense. I really love your plugin. Thanks!
