• WordPress supposedly sent an email about a fatal error on one of my sites. Subject=Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue.

    The top of the email says:

    “Howdy!

    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Gravity Forms.”

    Also,: “Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 8 of the file /hermes/bosnacweb02/bosnacweb02ag/b173/ipw.myurl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/forms_model.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘includes/legacy/forms_model_legacy.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php-7.3.2-xenial/lib/php’)

    I tested all my forms and the appear to work just fine.

    Is this spam, or does WP really send these emails out?

    Anyone aware of this?
