    Upon entering my API key to connect the plugin to your server I recieve the following message:

    API Key is valid but your site is not accessible from our servers. Please make sure that your server is accessible from the Internet before using the API or otherwise we won't be able to optimize them.

    On my hosting server, I enabled the following IP addresses as Outgoing Connections:

    5.9.88.82/32
    144.76.43.70/32
    144.76.62.77/32
    144.76.202.227/32
    144.76.235.107/32
    144.76.235.110/32
    176.9.106.46/32

    which resolved my initial ShortPixel error “site is not accessible from our servers”, but it still won’t let me validate the API key all the way through.
    Interestingly enough, the bulk process works, but I am confused about this “not accessible from our servers” message.

    It looks like you’ve stumbled upon a false positive, it would be great if you could provide me with more details like your account with us so we can investigate this more.

    Besides that I suggest you also allow incoming connections from
    144.76.62.77
    144.76.202.227
    136.243.106.37
    136.243.106.38
    in case there is any firewall/rule active.
    These are the IPs from where our optimization servers connect.

    Hello Alex,
    Thank you for your fast response first of all, and sorry for not being able to replay back sooner!

    I am happy to confirm that the issue resolved itself after some time passed, without me doing anything else other than what I mentioned in my first post. Upon clicking the ‘Validate’ button I get the message ‘API Key valid!’.

    My guess is that my hosting server simply needed more time (few days) to apply the ‘Outgoing Connections’ changes.

    I believe we managed to fix this in our latest plugin version so that’s why it automagically solved itself ??
