    The msg This plugin has detected that your site is running on a Windows server.

    No idea why – I’m running UWamp on Windows 10

    Hi, the notice is correct. Windows 10 is considered to be your server even though you are running UWamp. The same applies to those who are running xampp, wamp or any local server install in a windows operating system.

    Now, if you were running an apache server in a linux or unix system then you would probably not see that message. I think you understand what I mean.

    Also file permissions work differently in Windows.
