  • I am trying to update this website to WordPress v 6.4.1 but it keeps timing our. When I go to Site Health Status, there is 1 critical issue

    When I try to go to this IP address in my browser, my firewall/AV blocks me saying that “Visiting an untrustworthy site has been prevented” One or more of this website’s certificates are invalid.

    Your host’s DNS server does not respect TTL on domain name resolution and gives your wrong IP. Contact your hosting support

    The second error:

    Your firewall software is outdated and have “root CA” bundle that prevents from properly verifying modern SSL certificates. However, it is rarely possible to visit a HTTPS site using its IP, not the name. SSL cerificates are pinned to domain names, not IP. You only can check if server can accept connection or not.

    Both are not WordPress or www.ads-software.com issues

    I’m sorry – I don’t understand. This has been working perfectly for years and it has only just broken in the last month or less

    My firewall software is not outdated. It is kept up to date regularly.
