Can you please let us know which changes you made on the website after setting up Site Kit while it was working fine? Also share your Site Health information via form so we can inspect your site setup.

I experienced this same issue too but severally over the past week and today as well while trying to set up Site Kit on my site. The error message I’m getting is:
“Site Kit cannot access the WordPress REST API. Please enable it’s enabled on your site”

thank you for your reply. The issue resolved now. the issue is on the end of the host provider. Now All thing goes fine. I update my PHP latest version
