I have installed the Google Site Kit plugin on my WordPress blog, but it won’t set up any further steps because it tells me

“Your site may not be ready for Site Kit. Looks like Site Kit is unable to place or detect tags on your site. This can be caused by using certain caching or maintenance mode plugins or your site’s frontend is configured on a different host or infrastructure than your administration dashboard.

So I remove the sitekit plugin and disable all the plugins on my website then I reinstall sitekit but the same error occurred, even though all my plugins were disabled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @rose1419 thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having this problem. Good idea with deactivating the plugins. To help look into this could you please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health Information. You can share this privately using this form. Make sure to include your hosting provider on the form.
    2. Do you see any console errors when seeing this message on screen?
    3. Have you tried a Site Kit reset before trying to setup once more?

Once you share the information we can look at the best next steps to take to troubleshoot this.

@rose1419 Thank you for sharing the information. When seeing this message are you still able to proceed with the setup or is there no option to? If you can then please try this.

If not then I would also suggest checking your browser extensions to see if any of these could be causing a conflict. You can check these in Chrome by going to chrome://extensions/. Then try switching any you have off temporarily and reloading the Site Kit page.

Let me know how you get on with the above.
