Showing this error message after installing this plugin

Your site may not be ready for Site Kit

Looks like Site Kit is unable to place or detect tags on your site. This can be caused by using certain caching or maintenance mode plugins or your site’s frontend is configured on a different host or infrastructure than your administration dashboard.

Hi @microbiologynote, thanks for getting in touch. This message indicates that a caching or optimization configuration is resulting in Site Kit not being able to detect tags placed on your site during setup. This can be due to a third party plugin conflict.

So we can determine more on this and ensure you can complete set up, please share your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.

We also have more?information on the plugin website?in relation to this error. Let me know if you have any questions.

@microbiologynote Thank you for sharing the information so promptly. I can see that you have the LiteSpeed Cache plugin installed and active on your site. Could you please tell me if you see the same in Site Kit when temporarily disabling this plugin?

If you do still see the same warning with this disabled then you can also try the troubleshooting steps here which will highlight if any of your other plugins are causing a conflict resulting in this warning.

Let me know how the above two suggestions go for you.

@microbiologynote Thank you for confirming. Could you explain what happens when trying to set up Site Kit while LiteSpeed Cache?is disabled?

Could I also check with you if you have tried to set up Site Kit while in troubleshooting mode while following the troubleshooting steps shared above?

Please feel free to share any screenshots and recordings of your experience.
