Hi there, I have your plugin on 4 client sites & they’re all showing broken images for the facebook reviewer. I noticed a warning that your site’s SSL expired just a few hours ago, and I suspect this is what’s causing the issue, because the problem is showing on 4.x WordPress sites and 5.x WordPress sites.

Just checking in to see if it’s something else.

    Thanks
    Glen

Note I am also getting the following warning on all images, within the console:
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)”

    Hey @aussieglen,
Sorry for the troubles and any inconvenience this may be causing you. Thanks for lettings us know about the SSL there was a miscommunication with our server host and it didn’t get renewed for a few hours after you saw but is all good now. This is unrelated to the Facebook Reviews extension though. The images not showing up have happened before in the past and usually because Facebook is having an issue returning us the proper urls for the reviews. We are going to check it out on Monday though as a few other users have reported it the same and we see on our demo site it’s down. We’ll keep you posted! ??

Thanks for your patience in the matter,
    Justin

Hi Justin, no problem – thanks for the speedy reply. I had just added custom css to the sites as a short time workaround (display:none for the images) so it was easily addressed.

It’s a great plugin, so thanks again for the support! What would we do with all our spare time if not deal with tech support issues ??

    Cheers
    Glen

Awesome on css work around. ?? LOL right! Some how my brother and I manage to get to the support quickly but it does tend to cut into new development time. We had person dedicated to support most of last year but it didn’t work out. Hopefully soon we’ll have another person on it this year again to help ease the weight a little.

    Thanks again,
    Justin
