Your theme contains a meta description…

  • This is the warning I get: Your theme contains a meta description, which blocks WordPress SEO from working properly, please delete the following line, or press fix it:”
    Snd when I clicked on Fix it, it kept on giving me warning to fix it (something else). Everytime I clicked, I got a different warning. Now I don’t dare do anything….on this site. Anyone has this problem….

  • We don’t know your site, and we don’t know what theme you’re using, so it’s hard to offer detailed suggestions.

    Some themes have configuration options which disable the theme’s meta description(s). Look on your Dashboard under Appearance or Settings to see if your theme offers some options.

    I could not see any options regarding meta description.. What should WordPress SEO see in order to work properly. A standard meta description or nothing so it can put its own..?
