Your theme doesn't work with external featured images

Hello,

I just tried our your theme. It looks great, but I noticed your widgets do not work with featured images that are external.(https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/external-featured-image/)

My guess is, the way you are handling WP Query in your widgets to get the external featured image is not WordPress standard, that’s why it doesn’t work.
