    Hi @schneiderbill,

Hemingway is responsive. It adjusts itself to the width and height of the viewport/device that it is being viewed on.

    Hi,

I have designed a site using hemingway and found, half way through, that it’s not responsive. Thought it might be caused by plugins or customisation but it is still unresponsive.

As a test I’ve loaded the theme onto a blank sub domain and tested….. still not responsive.

    Help Please!

    Thanks

    That is strange.

Under Appearance > Customise, are the different viewing modes in the bottom left corner responsive?

Yes and when previewing (while in WP editor) it all looks great. That’s why i got so far into the design before I realised…. luckily only to phase 1 and not release though.

When viewing live, it doesn’t work.

https://www.foma.org.uk also looks difference in preview versus live. Specifically, it is ignoring the no sidebar override, but it is responsive overall.

I’m checking other settings, because I do have some memory of something similar happening on our site also.

    Thankyou @hermanfung

    I’ve just replicated your issue.

https://www.foma.org.uk on a mobile device is no longer responsive.

However, I’m not sure if this is why! All I did was delete the cache from the WP Super Cache plugin.

    Not sure I understand.

Either way, the subdomain I posted above has a completely standard and unaltered installation of Hemingway with just two pages added and a simple menu.

Surely that’s proof enough that the theme itself is the problem?

No third party plugins and no alteration to css.
