Your Theme Recommendation Needed For This WP Newbie!

  • I’m new to self-hosted WP and need your recommendations for a great theme!

    Here’s what I’m looking for:

    * most important: a great-looking header that can be done without coding/a web programmer (limited budget). I have a site logo and picture I’d like to use, but getting them to look good has been hard with the themes I’ve tried so far (Avada, Make (free)). Reference site: michelecushatt.com.

    * front-end drag and drop: I want to avoid shortcodes and focus on creating content.

    * ability to monetize: Ultimately, I want to work toward earning income from my site and want the ability to do affiliate links, advertising and offer paid products I create.

    * responsive, retina-ready, all the usual features.

    * budget: $100 or less

    I know this is asking a lot for the price point, but THANK YOU for any specific theme recommendations and help you can provide!
