    Hello there Sticky List users.

First off, thank you for making Sticky List a great plugin by reporting bugs, requesting features and support!

I’m thinking about maybe releasing a premium version of Sticky List. The reason for this is, as always, time.

I do not have enough time to support and develop this plugin for free. Therefor I’m thinking about releasing a premium version that would be available for purchase for $25. This premium version would have all features from the free version plus:

    • Multi page form support
    • Multiple file upload
    • List sorting and search (using list.js)
    • List pagination
    • Fully compatible with Gravity Forms “limit entries” and “No Duplicates” features
    • Create/edit/delete WordPress posts from the front end
    • Use existing entries as templates for duplication
    • Export list to .csv from front end
    • Abillity to control all settings from within the shortcode

Some features would then be removed from the free version to make it easier to maintain and support.

The premium version would give you access to all features + 1 year support and updates. The free version would be limited to bug fixes and security updates.

Although there is an option to donate money I have only received a handful of donations so I simply cant afford to spend as much time as I would like developing and supporting Sticky List.

However, before doing this, I would like to get input from users regarding my plans. So here are a few questions for you:

    • Would you be willing to pay $25 annually for a premium version of Sticky List including more features, updates and support?
    • What do you think about removing some features from the free version and moving them to the premium version?
    • Are there any additional features that you would like to see?

    Thanks again!

    I would pay and support.

I would certainly pay $25 right now! I’m evaluating Gravity View (https://gravityview.co/) – so you should compare features and charge accordingly.

All the feature points are great – my biggest request would be a more flexible layout engine. Some forms are really complex and have many, many fields – so it’s hard to wrestle the display data into a manageable view per entry with just columns.

My biggest request (probably not a common thing but still) would be to remove the dependency that the sticky list buttons need to be inside a <form> tag. The reason is that I want to pull Sticky List into a CRED form that already has a <form> tag open – so I can’t include the Sticky Buttons as it breaks the DOM.

Ideally they would just be <button> or < a > tags with the necessary info in a GET request.

GREAT plugin though – Pro version would be worth it.

This is exactly what I have been looking for and $25 is a great price for this plugin if you did go down the Pro version road. I looked at Gravityview and the pricing put me off slightly (too expensive) and the fact they don’t have downloadable demo to check it does what I required. Your plugin works and you provide great support to your users and deserve to be paid for that time and especially your efforts.

    I would happily pay.

100% make it so. $25 per year is a great fee and happy to pay it.

Q: Does this mean $25 per website or unlimited license?

Im not decided on the pricing model yet. Maybe 25$ for single site and 50$ for unlimited sites. What do you think?

That seems very fair, the only thing I would expect with a premium version is quick support like any premium costing plugin.
