    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I ran some tests with your site, and it seems that we receive a 406 error when trying to communicate with your site’s XML-RPC. That error is triggered by a Mod Security rule added by your hosting provider, Hostgator.

Could you contact them again, and ask them if they currently have a Mod Security rule in place that blocks access to XML-RPC unless you come from a specific IP? If they use a whitelist of IPs that include Automattic’s IPs, they’ll need to update it as it’s most likely missing some of our newer IP ranges.

If your hosting provider needs more details about this, do not hesitate to ask them to contact us directly, either via this thread or via email. We’ll be happy to work with them to help them update their Mod Security rules.

Let me know how it goes.
