I’m sorry you’re seeing this error message. From what you’ve written, it sounds like you’ve done all the right steps so far with the plugin update and re-authentication. Sometimes, these error messages can stick around due to caching issues, either on your site or within the Stripe dashboard. First, try clearing your website’s cache, as well as your browser cache.

If the error persists after that, could you please provide us with Can you please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report so we can check your site’s current setup? You can find it by going to WooCommerce → Status, then selecting “Get system report” and clicking “Copy for Support.”

Also, it would be helpful to know if you are seeing this error in the Stripe dashboard or within your WordPress admin.

Checking the SSR, there are 2 things standing out which may be contributing to the issue:

WP Version: ? 6.5.2 - There is a newer version of WordPress available (6.6.2)

It looks like WordPress is not yet updated to the latest available version. Can you please update this since plugins like the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway are typically tested with the most recent version of WordPress. Staying up to date is also highly recommended for security, performance, and overall functionality of your site.

Additionally, I’m able to see that the sites WooCommerce Database version is outdated and doesn’t match the WooCommerce core version. A mismatch can lead to odd behavior like this.

I’d suggest updating your WooCommerce Database to see if that resolves the issue. This can be done via WooCommerce → Status → Tools → Update database.

We always recommend ensuring that you have a good backup of your full site and database before doing this, so that, should something go wrong, you are able to easily restore your site to a functioning state.

Note: There was an issue some time ago with notices not being dismissable, but that was resolved in WooCommerce 8.0.0. It’s possible something else may be going on here, and we’ll be happy to investigate further!

Thanks for the screenshot. It helps to understand that the error you are seeing is on your Stripe Dashboard and not on your WordPress Dashboard.

In this case, I recommend reaching out to Stripe support. Let them know you’ve completed all WooCommerce updates. This will help them see that the message might be linked to something on their side. Stripe support should be able to guide you on any account-specific steps that could resolve this.
