Hello. I’m using the Elementor Video Playlist widget. I tried to set Complianz to block all the videos before leaving cookies in many ways, but no luck. Could you help to configure Complianz plugin at its best to do it? The video playlist is very important for my new site and has a very gorgeous layout and a good UX. Had to add the no-cookie in each video? Am able to do it in a single video widget but not in the video playlist. Have to set the Elementor integration? I’m so confused but I think that Complianz is the solution.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @kkriss,

Since Complianz 6.2.4, an integration with the Elementor Video Playlist is included in the plugin. It should work out-of-the-box, as long as the Elementor and YouTube integrations have been enabled under Complianz > Integrations > Services.

I visited the website and it appears that the playlist is already being correctly blocked (and reloaded after providing consent), so you can now use the ‘regular’ YouTube URL instead of the no-cookie version.

I’ve also set up a working example here: https://elementor.us12.instawp.xyz/index.php/video-list/

Are you still experiencing any issues with this?

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @jarno
    Thanx for your quick reply.
I changes all video links into Youtube shareable links, clean all caches and seems it works!
Only 2 little details to make it perfect:
    1) How to add a background image I prefer, not the first video preview?
    2) While the warning “Click to accept cookies…” is displayed, the cookie banner should be present too?
    see this screenshot
    Thanx again

    Hi @kkriss,

You would normally be able to override the YouTube placeholder (which would be applied to all YouTube video’s) with a filter like the one provided in this article, but at the moment this is not yet supported for the Elementor YouTube Playlist specifically. I’ve added it to our backlog and this will be looked into.

As for the “Click to accept” notice being displayed, it is indeed intended behavior that the Cookie Banner can be displayed simultaneously.

    Hope it helps/clarifies for now.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @jarno
    1) I will create myself an image to add to Youtube as a placeholder, not too much work for now;
    2) I was pretty sure it was mandatory to show the banner too.

Thank you so much for your help, you were precious, precise, quick: the Best! ??
