    I saw the functionality and I assume Youtube video should have a static thumbnail with the cookie acceptance text. After clicking it should reveal the video…

    In my case it doesnt work – even in Incognito window regardless if i accept anything or deny, it loads YT thumb and plays the video after click.. In several browsers. Same behaviour on your demo.. https://demo.complianz.io/youtube/

    @mrtvykenny on the demo website the Elementor integration was disabled for testing purposes. I have now enabled it again, if you check again you will see it now works as expected.

    Can you share your domain so we can take a look at the issue?

    videos are added through SiteOrigin PageBuilder 2.16.4, not sure if that is relevant..

    The settings should be fine (usage of third party services + checked Youtube option)

    thank you!

    Hi @mrtvykenny,

    Video Widgets are notoriously hard to block, as the content is unavailable if we parse the source. Therefore we don’t know YouTube is present.

    You can, however change the Video Widget to a Text Widget with iFrame; you can see the difference here;
