Youtube compatibility

Hopefully I’m just doing something out of ignorance but this plugin should be able to embed/play from Youtube correct?

For the life of me I’m missing something simple or have a conflict somewhere.

The video looks to be properly setup (if you click the download button it opens the correct video on youtube) but never loads.

I saw another post here that a person had a conflict with a long video and switched to Vimeo. I tested by adding a 1 minute video from youtube and it also won’t load/play.

I switched to a stock WP theme and it made no difference.

I had previous youtube plugin installed years back that I have deleted tonight just in case it was somehow conflicting.

Am I missing something silly? ??
