    HEllo to all!

    We’re having some strange issues in our wordpress installation. Some of our users, can’t post embed code from youtube, by any means.

    The copy the code, they put it on the post, when then save or publish the post, the embed code just vanishes and no video get’s displayed on the post.

    Tried everything I new, still can’t find a solution to this. Any ideas?

  • I have the same issue. My site administrator says that the WP video plug in has been installed, but that doesn’t work for me either when I use the [youtube id] code, per the plug in instructions.

    Any ideas folks?

    I’m having the same issue as stargazernc. I can post videos, one author-status user can post videos, and one author-status user has the problem with the embed code vanishing when he posts.

    I’ve got the same issue. One of my writers has had to post the links for me and then I’ve gotta get the code from youtube/etc and actually paste it in. He was setup as an Author, but someone told us that only ‘contributors’ can post embed codes…tried it, no luck.
    Would love to get this figured out.
