    Hi there,

the content blocker works fine using the theme videoplayer directly. But when opening the video player in the popup window there’s no blocking. Any ideas how to solve this?

    Regards, J?rg.

    Hello J?rg,

    thanks for your message.

Have you tried to put the specific iframe of the Youtube video in our section “Integrations” -> “Script center”? From there you’ll be able to prior block manually a specific script/plugin/iframe.

    Hello J?rg,

I checked the website and I see that if you refuse cookies you can click the button “Same video in popup window” but it opens a blank page with a message which says to accept cookies to see the video, which is correct.

Then I can go back to the previous page to change the consent settings, do you see this behaviour too?

Yes. The blocking in the popup works now.

But i would like the video to start when i click on the “accept” link within the popup.

You mean you want the video to start automatically when you accept the cookies? Video of the behaviour here

Nothing happens when clicking the “accept”-link in the popup-window. See this: https://zweigrafiker.com/wp-content/uploads/screen-recording-video-popup.mp4

    Hello J?rg,

    thanks for your patience.

I’ve spoken with the dev team and they told me you can disable what you’ve done in the section “Script center”, that’s because the default YouTube integration in Complianz (Complianz -> Integrations -> Services) will be sufficient to block the “standard” embed (so the video you put in the theme).

Unfortunately in order to correctly handle the lightbox implementation (the second one), whereby the?src=“”?isn’t filled with the actual YT URL yet, it will require further customization to work in the same way, so at the moment we cannot let it work exactly as you want.

    In this case you can:

    1. Check this custom integration with an external dev
    2. Maintain the script center method, having the issue you pointed out though
    3. Submit a feature request and if we’ll receive more suggestions like yours the dev team will start working on that
