• Video lightbox is a large blank white square on our SSL-enabled website. I have read that this plugin supports HTTPS for YouTube but I can’t seem to enable it. In the website markup it shows <iframe src="https://youtube.com/embed/[...] I tried locating the declaration of {path} to change that to an HTTPS link, but unable to find it. When I manually change http to https in Web Inspector, the video appears.

    Any help?

We have heard from users that the latest release fixed the https issue. So I’m closing this topic.

It did not fix it. I contacted you via your form, but the videos are not playing on https://schlittlaw.com/resource-center/videos/

    Hi wptipsntricks!

I don’t think the issue has been resolved so far. I used several codes recommended by users for this plugin, ultimately its not working with HTTPS domains. Probably this functionality is not available in free version of this plugin rather someone who is frustrated may go for the paid version “Lightbox Ultimate”.

If this is not true kindly help me fix the issue. You may see white background on my youtube videos here https://www.letmerank.com

Hey everyone. I know it’s been nearly a year since I posted this original thread. I ended up hard-coding an HTTPS reference inside the plugin files. It worked for me, but I have to make sure to keep adding that HTTPS reference every time I update the plugin.

If anyone’s interested, I can post where that line of code is located. Though it was pretty easy to find.

    Good luck! ??
